We are finally entering a time to plan. I hope you all enjoyed nesting deeper in January and took the reprieve of our natural celtic calender to dream up the most wonderful potential futures your current self can imagine. If you missed that prompt not to worry, it is always safe to Dream Big. Your dreaming spark ideas, and planning is simply indulging in the process of putting your ideas down on paper.
Now as we enter the energy of Imbolc you may feel the compulsion to get some plans into place. If this is your urge then go for it, just remember not everything has to happen in one year. And as you map out your calendar for the year ahead keep your core intentions in mind. Keep asking yourself ‘is this for my highest good, is it for the highest good of others?’.
The word Imbolc comes from the meaning ‘in the belly’, a time of year for conception, new life that comes from the liminal space between the darkness and light. A time to harness the energy of creativity and growth, so try to view your planning as a magical process that turns your creative dreams into reality. Like all seasons in the Celtic calendar there is magic to be found in our everyday endeavours. We start to see this magic when we view our actions through the lens of how our planet is energetically supporting us at the current time.

The plans you make now have true intention weaving through them, so plan with care and with joy. Making plans is like planting seeds, some may stay dormant for a year or two but now is still the best time to plan(t). When we get to Bealtaine you will know which ideas have sprouted roots and will have clarity around what needs nourishing and what needs clearing.
Trust that what’s for you this year will find you this year. And always leave space for there are unimagined dreams trying to find you, and the forgotten dreams of yester-year may choose this year to shine through.
