My approach to Yoga for Men combines targeted yoga practices with personalized assessments to address the specific needs those new to yoga such as runners, cyclists, and other active men and also those returning to activity after a long time. Each Yoga-for-Men series incorporates an individual assessment and home practice guide, building confidence and tailoring techniques week by week.
Yoga for Men is a specialized practice designed to enhance the flexibility, strength, and overall well-being of men, particularly those who are runners, cyclists, or engage in other strenuous activities. This practice addresses common areas of tension and stiffness, promoting recovery, preventing injuries, and improving performance. Yoga for Men incorporates a mix of stretching, strengthening, and mindfulness techniques to create a balanced and holistic approach to fitness and health.
Expect each 60-minute session to begin with breathwork, the foundation of the practice and how you learn to regulate your nervous system. Through the movement practice a personalized assessment is built up week on week starting to tailor the practice to your individual needs. Each session concludes with meditative integration, ensuring your body fully absorbs the work you have put in. In the last session of each series you will be given guide points for your own home practice. Keeping it simple so you incorporate it into a regular or even daily routine.
